About

Marwan Basha is the Founder and Managing Director of Flex Labs, the professional services firm he launched in January 2024 and has scaled across the UAE and Egypt into a portfolio of fifteen-plus engagements spanning strategy, transformation, fundraising, branding, and capability building. He leads the firm's senior client relationships and overall direction, with recent work including an end-to-end organizational transformation for a $300M+ engineering holding company across six workstreams that converted into an ongoing retainer, growth strategies and financial models for clients across F&B, media, industrial, and technology sectors, and fundraising support for ventures in cloud infrastructure, HR tech, entertainment, and agri-business.

Before founding Flex Labs, Marwan spent nearly six years at McKinsey & Company in Dubai, advancing from Business Analyst to Engagement Manager. His work spanned banking, public sector, healthcare, infrastructure, and tourism across the GCC, and included designing a full retail banking transformation that delivered roughly $12M in net income uplift, leading a COVID-era cost-efficiency program at a major GCC bank that delivered around $35M in savings with no headcount reductions, redesigning a national utilities network for over $200M in optimization impact, and building a delivery plan for a national industrial development program. He has also served as a Principal at AS/P since 2021, designing capability-building and learning programs for leading GCC government entities, and began his career as a Consultant at PwC.

Marwan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.94 GPA and was recognized by the Beta Gamma Sigma Honour Society. He is a long-standing trainings facilitator at McKinsey, designing and leading sessions on analytics and consulting skills for new joiners and first-year business analysts. Fluent in English and Arabic, he brings a structured, execution-oriented approach that combines the analytical discipline of top-tier consulting with the commercial instincts of a founder building a firm from the ground up.
